Every January, CCC hosts the Louisiana Department of Revenue (LDR) to help clients obtain their Louisiana Sales Tax Exemption Certificate. which allows them purchase business-related items tax free. Clients are encouraged to take full advantage of this program because it saves them a trip to Baton Rouge, and eliminates the average 4-6 week wait. At CCC, clients receive their certificates the day of. This program is free of charge and CCC’s staff is happy to help clients gather all necessary documentation needed for the LDR staff to process. Time is limited in this program because LDR’s visits to CCC are based on funding from the state--we encourage clients to visit as early in January as possible.
